Privacy policy
Privacy policy of Toy Rotation Organizer
Short version: everything you enter in Toy Rotation Organizer stays on your phone. The app has no account, no adverts, no analytics and no internet access, and we receive no data from it.
Applies to the Android app Toy Rotation Organizer, version 1.0.0, and to this website (toyrotationorganizer.lol). Last updated: 19 October 2026.
Who is responsible
The publisher of Toy Rotation Organizer named on its Google Play page. For any question about privacy or your data, write to [email protected].
What the app stores
Only what you type in or choose yourself:
- collections (name, note, how many boxes are out at a time, rotation length, usual swap day);
- toy boxes: name, label colour, age label, storage place, tags, notes, contents with quantities and lost or broken counts, cleaning checklist, interval and the dates of past checks;
- optional photos of boxes;
- rotations: dates, the boxes in each rotation, whether the swap was done, notes;
- your own templates, the change history of each collection and app settings.
All of it is kept in the app's private storage on your phone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Children
Toy Rotation Organizer is made for adults — parents, grandparents and carers — and is not directed at children. The app asks for no information about children: no names, ages or photos of people. Age labels describe toys, not children. We do not knowingly collect any data from children; the app collects no personal data from anyone.
Photos
Adding a photo to a box is optional. The photo is chosen in Android's own photo picker, which shows only the picture you select to the app; the app has no access to the rest of your gallery and no camera access. A copy of the chosen picture is kept in the app's private storage and shown only in the app. Photos are never uploaded and are not part of backups. Please photograph toys, not people.
What leaves your phone
Nothing, unless you decide so. The app has no internet permission and contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other tracking software. When you share or save a file — the rotation plan or catalogue as PDF, a list as text, or a backup file — Android's share sheet or folder picker opens and you choose where it goes. From then on that app or place handles the file under its own terms.
Links in the app (this privacy policy, the website, the e-mail address) open in your browser or e-mail app.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or media, and no notifications. Backups are opened through the system file picker.
How long data is kept and how to delete it
Your data stays on your phone until you delete it. You can delete single entries, delete everything in More › Your data › Delete all data, or uninstall the app, which removes all its data including photos. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party content; fonts and images are served from this site. The web server keeps short technical access logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to run the site securely; they are not used to identify you or for marketing.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Because the app sends us no data, we normally hold nothing about you unless you write to us; e-mails are kept only as long as needed to answer them. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If a future version of the app works differently — for example if it ever needed internet access — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
